Welcome, welcome one and all to Game Land's first weekly podcast. This is your host, Champ Slice, A forum admin and Game Land's Co-Creator.
Today marks the first time in Game Lands History to have a spoken news. Meaning, your listening and hearing my voice not reading what I have to say. We will be going over various topics such as the NBA in particular, Lebron James, The World Cup, Game Lands' Tournament,
But first, Champ and Shiki have come up with a plan to bring in more members what could it be? Shiki and I have come up with a plan. Anybody who was with me back in the days of Smash underground would know who Taz short for Tastingo was. He was a genius. He gave me this idea, and everytime Shiki would come to the chat we would talk about doing this. This is finally it. The perfect timing, for the perfect plan. Just help us out with the map and you will unlock the part of the process.
Moving on, the Free Agent Frenzy is officially over. Last night the decision was made. Lebron James is headed to South Beach. That's right folks, the King is headed to the Miami Heat to play with Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh. They are now the favorite to win the East. Let's not forget about Phil Jacksons history of 3peats though. I still think the Lakers got this.
32 teams gathered in South Africa, 32 teams fought valiantly for their countries. But now, we are down to 2. The Netherlands and Spain. Spain took out the favorite Germany (the favorite in my household anyways). Some of the Native Germanians such as Benjamin Snack of Game Land had this to say. "The referees *Explicit* us up, now I don't care about Paragay". In other words "Germany sucked ass". Good Luck to Spain and The Netherlands in the World Cup Finals Sunday, Jul 11 @ 2:30pm (ET) on ABC.
Last but not least Game Land will be hosting a tournament this Saturday at 8 pm Eastern time. Be sure to be there and supporet Game Land in it's 1 year Anniversary Tournament.
