New Pokemon

Hey, anyone seen the newest batch of Pokemon? They've released a few pictures and the two legendary Pokemon here.

My favorite is Tsutaja, Chiramii, Zorua, and Zekrom.

Is it just me or are Pokemon getting a lot different nowadays?

I'm getting White. I haven't bought a PKMN game since Leafgreen and before that Gold. The Pokemon Post Gold/Silver era have all just seemed like blatant cash cows. Like nothing has really changed much aside from a few moves, some games, and every other Pokemon is a legendary.

I need to buy myself a new DS, Pokemon Platinum, and SoulSilver.

Save yourself money and don't buy Platinum. While your at it, wait until March when they release the 3DS.....

Yeah, 3DS was in the paper today, they had an advertisement for a new Mario Kart 3DS game in the screen of the 3DS.

I believe I made the comment that the White Version Legendary (the black pokemon) looks suspiciously like a Digimon.

when i still played Pokemon, i bought Platinum and beat it in three hours. it was so easy because it was pretty much the exact same story that diamond and pearl had, so i knew how to do everything.

Dude, why would I not buy Platinum?

I've never played Pearl or Diamond, so I think choosing Platinum right off would be good.

its a good game if you havent played diamond or pearl. otherwise its boring. trust me.

Curse the pokemon anime! It has made the name of Pokemon into a children's title! When Red and Blue came out, not only were they solid RPGs (and continue to be), but they basically opened the door for popular video game RPGs, which had not done amazingly well before hand. Games like Chrono Trigger and FF had a mere cult following, but Pokemon opened the doors of RPG to a very wide audience!

PEOPLE WHO DON'T PLAY POKEMON BECAUSE THE SERIES IS "FOR KIDS" ARE NOT TRUE GAMERS.

The anime was really good for the first few seasons. After Ash beat Gary it all kinda fell apart for me.

I've never played Diamond or Pearl, so I think that its gonna be a good deal for me.

And I've never finished the Johto Region games, (I got stuck at the final gym) so I think buying HeartGold or SoulSilver will be an awesome deal as well.

And yeah, I used to love Pokemon. And I mean. A. Whole. Lot.

@Ender: you had better not say that to Blizzard Entertainment. they really outdid themselves on Diablo, which was an amazing rpg(if you liked fighting the Prime and Lesser Evils of Hell). they might get pissed off if you do, considering the fact that Diablo came out a year BEFORE Pokemon Blue did, and was a huge hit.

i also think the latest Pokemon games might be just a LITTLE bit rascist. i mean, Black and White? really?

I need a new DS to =/. Ima get white.

might buy it, but i'm not really hyped or anything
i already gave up on a fun ingame-play since 3rd generation. might just buy it out of curiosity

meh, i might buy it, but pokemon are just looking like digimon, and it just seems to be craphic enhancements, some new moves, and new pokemon. basically, it's the same thing, but with a new skin on the pokemon, and prettier skin too.

ll be too busy playing SC2 in a month to notice anyother new games anyways...
